1) What is a "botnet"?
It means computers together into an unwitting army of zombies, and uses the collective power of the dragooned network to commit Internet crimes.
2) What is "spam"?
It means sending same information to different website.
3) According to the article, how many computers were online in 1988?
There are 60,000 computers online.
4) Today about how many computers are online? How many of them contain botnet programs?
There are more than 650 million computers, maybe 11 %.
5) How do "botnet masters" profit from their use of botnets?
It can get the other PC’s information and use this personal information to get other people or company's money.
6) In your own words, explain why botnets are harmful to society.
First it is harmful and affects other people. Second Computes are not been protected.
7) What do you think should be done to solve the problem of botnets? Be creative!
We can configure each computer’s pass word to protect our computer.
8) What are some other important problems that are affecting the internet?
There is a lot of useless information like garbage on online. And always make speed of connect computer with Internet become slowly.
